It’s family, and it’s faith, and it’s friends, and it’s not the glamour of the Presidency, or the wonder of going to receive the Nobel Prize. All those are important, of course. But maybe it’s just that I’m 71 years old now. It’s family, and it’s faith, and it’s friends.
With smile lines.
My vain side would like to be remembered as someone who did good for others in some way. But I would be happy if my children remembered me.

Modelling in South Korea, aged 19. After a party, I flopped into bed, lit a big candle and balanced it on top of a massive box of matches. I created my own firework display when the candle burnt down and set fire to it. It made the biggest noise ever which, luckily, woke me from my slightly boozy slumber.
The ability to walk in high heels.
My half-electric Volvo.
A full belly and a nice nap.
Getting a daily show on Radio 2, because that was an ambition for so long.
As an adult, not having my own horse yet.
