Holidays. In the Spice Girls, we found ourselves with quite a few quid, so it was lovely to hire a big house in the Caribbean and have friends and family over.
A Tiffany watch for my wife. The security guard was following us, so I deliberately bought a really expensive watch to prove we had money. I don’t think I’ve seen her wear it.
My partner was doing a play in Hong Kong last year and I went to visit him, and I bought him a beautiful teacup. But I didn’t look at the price tag before I took it to the till and it was £100, the most expensive teacup imaginable.
A birthday present I hoped would mean a lot to the person. I had their family history researched and a book made.
I worked in a petrol station on the A1 one summer. I enjoyed it except when I was on latrine duty.
I would definitely change the way one or two relationships ended.
When I was seven. I remember it as a golden time, long gone.
Possibly the fact that some of the stuff I’ve written will still be around after I’ve snuffed it.
