It was such a beautiful summer’s night and I had pink hair and my band was doing really well and my mum was there, my mum was still alive. It was very magical for me and to get the honour of my city, to be blessed by their respect, it was delicious.

View all 117 →What I’m most proud of in my ski jumping career is that I helped the sport to get where it is today, with the World Cup, World Championship and the Olympics.
Just the fact I have kept going. I'd say I am very hard on myself and I like it that way. It keeps me on my toes, it keeps me grounded, it keeps me focused and wanting to improve. Just the fact I have kept on going.
I was really proud that it was my stars that had convinced the prize committee that there was good physics in astrophysics.
