Being mum to my awesome children, Woody and Nelly. They make my day, every day. I do joke with them that I’m happy to pay for the therapy they’ll inevitably need in later years due to my terrible parenting.

It’s not a big thing, but one ought to feel proud about the small moments in which you might have helped, cared for, or done something good for others.
Staying alive, being here at this age. So many songs. It’s crazy.

Parenting is the wildest adventure and vocation that can happen to a person. Every day is different and there is no static. So, you have to kind of surrender to the process, which is a hard thing to do for somebody like me who prefers to have order in my life.
