Some of those late nights.
I would have spent every single day with my sister before she left to live in New Zealand. At my wedding, it was the first time I had seen her in two and a half years.
Every time I got drunk and out of order. Especially in my teens and 20s.
My all-girls’ high school. I hated it. Large groups of teenage girls aren’t known for their empathy and kindness. It was a shock to realise that people viewed me as uncool because of the way my body worked.
OCD medication.
A flight from Paraguay to South Africa that went badly wrong. The plane nearly fell out of the sky and the oxygen masks dropped. People were screaming but the pilot saved the day, and then apparently never flew again.
The main courses are never as tasty as starters. But enough about my sex life.
Intrusive thoughts and caffeine.
Whoever has to use the bathroom after my brother.
I cried watching the movie Coco with my daughter.
