I am unable to use scissors.
I’m incredibly patient with a lot of stuff, but incredibly impatient with other things. I deplore the impatient side.
That I don’t give myself enough credit.
At this time in my life, I quite like myself but, for a large portion of my life, I deplored being shy.
I thought I was a hedonist at the time, but when I look back I was always working. I am always working. I work every day. I never give parties; I never gave them.
To get the most out of the world around you you’ve got to really look hard. Most people out walking in the woods don’t really look. They just glance around. They scan. Before I start a painting I spend a lot of time looking and thinking, I go out in the car and pull a chair out of the boot and sit in the woods. I sit there and smoke and just look.
