My kids navigating the world as it is today – and daddy longlegs.
When I was little, a couple of rapes took place in Glasgow. I remember my mum saying to walk in the middle of the pavement, and to this day I am very conscious of where I am.
To let fear overcome my life. We’re not gonna let that happen because love is always greater than fear.
Failure. I hate losing, particularly at football and politics. I play five-a-side every week – middle of midfield, barking orders. Some people say it’s the taking part that counts. I am not in that camp. It’s the winning that counts.
A perfect flight to a perfect landing … with witnesses.
Procrastination.
Passive aggression.
Their willingness to have me as a friend.
