To be taller. I’ve been looking up at certain people all my life. If I was taller, I could look down and see them a lot better.

My inability to have a long-term intimate relationship.
First of all, I’d like to stop complaining—I’m beginning to annoy myself. I would like to learn to read faster, however. Again, the rest I’ve learned to live with.
I wish I were braver, although I try. I work too hard and don’t play enough. Too much work ethic, not enough “fun.”
Convince myself that walking two miles a day isn’t boring.
I am the way I am, and I can’t change that. Why even think about it?
I would like to be less impulsive.
I would talk slower. When I hear myself interviewed sometimes it sounds like I’m running an auction.

My inability to keep track of personal possessions.
If I could change one thing about myself, it would be to change the idea that I should change something about myself.
I would be a better, faster, and more faithful writer of letters and e-mails, and returner of phone calls.
Thinking that I am not enough or not beautiful the way I am. That thinking is super-dangerous.
My dyslexia. Or my inability to learn another language.
I’d like to increase my brain’s computing speed.
A little more self-confidence wouldn’t hurt.
