Kelis Rogers, 30, was born in Harlem and studied at the LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. She released her debut album, Kaleidoscope, in 1999. Her new album is Flesh Tone and includes the recent hit Acapella and the follow-up, 4th Of July. She is performing at Glastonbury today. She is divorced from the rapper Nas, and has a son.
