Warmth and security.
Love is a religious experience, which then requires me to define religion, which I define as everything I don’t understand.
Comforting, solid, unconditional, a drug.
Safe, strong and smiley.

To my father, who was aggressively indifferent to what I was doing. He did say sorry to me when he was dying and I don’t think I was very gracious.
