Very recently, when a graduate at the Dyson Institute of Engineering and Technology gave the most brilliant speech on behalf of the students at our first graduation.
When my dad died this year.
Yesterday, at my stepsister’s funeral. She was 78, an actor, and died of cancer.
When I watched Ghost about four months ago.
I am always disappointed in myself. I always feel that I haven’t achieved enough, or been as good a parent as I could be.
My late wife – she died of cancer. We tried everything we could do to save her. I wish that I could have done more and that I could have been with her at the moment she passed away. I couldn’t be in that room, because I knew it would be so devastating that I wouldn’t be able to take care of the kids after.
