Being on my deathbed and realising I’d forgotten to treat each day as the miracle that it is.
When I was growing up, I thought quicksand was going to be a much bigger fear to contend with on a day‑to-day basis. It hasn’t proved to be a bother yet, but there’s still time.
Well, I’m not too happy about snakes. I also hate sand. It’s very inconvenient.
I don’t even voice them. Perhaps the books are my outlet here.
