Seven words from Samuel Beckett, a writer I’ve not even read that well, learned long ago as an undergraduate, began to repeat in my head, and the seemingly impassable sea of uncertainty parted: “I can’t go on. I’ll go on.” I took a step forward, repeating the phrase over and over: “I can’t go on. I’ll go on.” And then, at some point, I was through.
To be here in this one moment.
To follow your path and not worry about what to do too much; one thing leads to the next, and you wind up where you’re meant to be.

I’m hungry for knowledge…Knowledge, knowledge and I loved it.
At the age of 21, as a Moeid, I believed that behind every universal phenomenon there must be beauty and simplicity in its description. This belief remains true today.

But I had decided that science is really the thing…It is what I wanted. Exactly.
