On New Year’s day I was so hungover my hair actually hurt. I lay on the sofa with my daughter and we watched The Muppets for two hours and I cried with laughter.
My kids wrote a song for me, recorded it on to a CD and it was played before my last Australian Open. I had no idea until I heard it live on TV.
Recently watching (or trying to watch) 12 Years A Slave.
On stage at the Brixton Academy on the third night of the residency I did there. I walked out and could not stop crying, some sort of mad relief that it’s all paid off and it’s all been worth it.
