One after the other, thoughts come banging in – and it’s no sleep for you tonight, dearie.
Did I behave in the right way?
My little girl. I often get visits just for a cuddle.
The climate catastrophe.
The years of self-doubt.
The Covid years. My life is diminished since then. I lost my brother. My children lost some social expression, and we are still recovering from that.
When I worked at a dog food company shovelling the exterminated rats.
Losing the people that I love.
Immunity to cruelty.
Because it’s in one of my songs, War and Peace.
