What has been your biggest disappointment?

Not becoming a ballerina.

I haven't seen a ghost yet.

Welsh rugby since the 70s.

Realising that success wasn't going to keep me happy all my life.

I can't think of anything.

That I spent so many years being overweight and out of shape.

Myself, for having such a lack of love for myself at times.

Not getting into drama college in Dublin. I cut all my hair off as a sort of self-punishment for being crap.

Trusting someone that was a fake.

My failure to come to grips with all these disappointments.

When things are disappointing, I know they are happening for a reason, so I try to find out why and learn from them.

The death of my mother, when I was 18.

Not getting proper dance lessons as a young person. I was a serious flamer.

Realising that I wasn't a fairy changeling child and that David Bowie wasn't the fairy king.

Not being a dad by the age of 32.

Not being part of the Transformers franchise.

I don't dwell on disappointments.

Growing older so quickly.

When Justin Bieber's management kicked us out of his rehearsal because they were afraid we'd laugh at him. I was actually super-excited.

Realising I was never going to make it big in professional swing dance.
