What did you want to be when you were growing up?

I always wanted to be a singer, but I also wanted to be a doctor. I almost got there: I did four years and got my neuroscience BSc.

Genuinely, the host of Radio 1’s Breakfast Show.

A librarian. Or a racing driver for Ferrari F1.

Jobs that I saw on television, until I realised they were all played by actors – then I wanted to be an actor.

A ballet dancer. I danced from age two to 19. Giving up was not a choice; I had complications in an ankle operation.

I wanted to perform in some way, but I didn’t think it was viable. Teachers told me I should be a barrister, because I was always arguing with them.

A veterinarian, but I decided against it because it required too many years of schooling; I wasn’t great at school.

Housewife and mother of three, which I am now.
