Cybill Shepherd, 58, was born in Memphis, Tennessee. In 1966, she won the Miss Teenage Memphis contest and went on to model before turning to acting in 1970 in The Last Picture Show. She found global fame when she starred in the TV series Moonlighting, with Bruce Willis. She stars in the fourth series of The L Word, which is released on DVD on Monday. She is twice divorced and has three children.
