To my parents for all the mess-ups. There have been times when I’ve been going through something and I’ve thought, God, I’m so glad my mum and dad are dead, because they don’t have to go through it with me.
To my brother. When he was a small boy, I made him urinate on an electric fence to see if liquid could really transmit electricity.
My kids. I think if you don’t want to say sorry to your kids you’ve been an appalling parent.
My wife. I made mistakes in my early life and hurt her. Everybody thinks the grass is greener, but it’s not. To say sorry to her when she understands will be one of the greatest gifts God has given me.
