Dying when my children are still young. I know how much it hurt me. I was 30 when my mum died and 39 when my dad died, and even then, that was too young.
It would be my mum. She was a terrible alcoholic and I spent a lot of my time kind of hating her but, in the past five years, I realised why she did what she did and I could forgive.
As a nice human being who gave a shit.

When my kids ask, “What happens when we die?” I say, “Do you remember the place you were in before you were born? I think we go back there.”
